About Maisie
I am a PhD student, who has graduated as valedictorian (GPA: 4.0) from an elite US university, and is now pursuing a funded doctorate at a leading US university specialising in counterterrorism. I have ample experience, and references available, in supporting dissertation writing and extended essays at undergraduate level for all social science subjects, as well as supporting gifted high school and younger students in English, Mathematics, History, Geography, and Computer Science. Having worked specifically in ESOL environments, and with students from age 3 up, I am happy to work with you to provide the best support for you.

I like to teach thematically, posing a problem based on your interests and work through it using the key methods of the subject. I encourage debate, feedback and dialogue on the fundamental theories behind concepts to support holistic learning. This also makes learning a lot more fun and interesting than you might find in an average classroom, and might even help you find your passion!
