I am a Social Studies Education Major studying to be a high school teacher. I’m skilled in all areas of social studies including History, Economics, Geography, Government, and Psychology. My goal is to educate the next generation to help change the future for the better. Social Studies is a special subject that can be used to educate students on life skills and valuable world knowledge. It also creates a safe space for conversations about difficult subjects like race, gender, class, discrimination, politics, power, and inclusivity. I am trained in classroom management, education strategies, and specialize in teaching Integrated Services students with special needs. The skill I am most proud of is the relationships I can build with students to create an environment of love, acceptance, and a place to grow safely together.
